Wentworth Institute of Technology’s School of Computing & Data Science invites applications for a Lecturer of Cybersecurity or Information Technology beginning August 31, 2024.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching both undergraduate-level information technology and cybersecurity courses
- Teaching a 4 – 4 teaching load in the Fall and Spring with an optional teaching load for Summer
- 1, 3 or 5-year contracts available and will be commensurate with experience.
- Performing service to the university and the profession, which includes academic advising, student engagement, and serving on committees.
Required Education: M.S. in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
Preferred Education: M.S or Ph.D. in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related discipline.

In addition, members of the school have close collaborative relationships with faculty in sciences, humanities, and electrical and computer engineering, among others.

- Demonstrated success in teaching at the undergraduate level.
- Demonstrated practical/ industry experience.

Particular attention will be given to candidates with a background in cybersecurity, offensive security, network security, software security, malware analysis, digital forensics or information technology.
