Description

As a Network Integration Engineer, you will extend the Tufin product suite to support network and security devices it does not support out of the box, such as firewalls, micro-segmentation platforms, SD-WAN solutions and cloud environments. Using Tufin's Open Model (OPM) platform, you will build device clients that report device data to the Tufin product and automate changes on the devices (provisioning), so customers can manage them just like natively supported devices.

Responsibilities

  • Learn new network and security devices in depth – their configuration, security policy, routing, topology and APIs – and map them to the Tufin data model.
  • Design and develop device clients (in Python and Go) that collect device data and report it to the Tufin product through the OPM platform.
  • Automate device provisioning, implementing policy and configuration changes on the devices so changes designed in Tufin are applied automatically and reliably.
  • Build and maintain shared services used by all device clients, such as policy provisioning and syslog processing.
  • Own the development cycle, from device research and solution design through implementation, testing and release.
  • Optimize for scale and performance, handling large policies, routing tables and multi-tenant environments.
  • Support customer deployments and escalations, working with Professional Services, Support and customers to troubleshoot issues in real-world environments.
  • Collaborate with Product and R&D teams on requirements, platform capabilities and roadmap.
  • Leverage AI tools and systems – AI coding assistants and AI agents – to speed up device research, design, coding and testing, and help develop our internal AI-based tools.
  • Document and share knowledge through design documents, guides and training for field teams.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software development experience, with strong hands-on experience in Python and Go.
  • Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, routing, NAT, VPN and firewall security policies.
  • Hands-on experience with network or security devices from vendors such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, Check Point or Huawei.
  • Experience integrating with devices and systems via REST APIs and SSH/CLI, including parsing complex configurations.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and systems, such as AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot), LLMs and AI agents, and prompt engineering.
  • Experience with network automation, making configuration or policy changes on devices through APIs or CLI.
  • Fast self-learner, able to master unfamiliar technologies quickly, often with limited documentation.
  • Strong communication skills in English, including working directly with customers.

Advantages

  • Experience with Tufin or other network security policy management solutions.
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN, micro-segmentation or cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
