Because Tines is about delivering exceptional customer experiences, while creating a company culture that nurtures individual curiosity, growth, and integrity.

We are looking for a Senior IT Systems Engineer who loves designing and building technical solutions to help grow and mature the IT organisation at Tines. You’ll have the opportunity to make your mark, build new projects, and automate away repetitive daily tasks.

This is a key role reporting to the IT Manager in Dublin, and will be a hybrid role based between your home office location and 3 days a week based in Tines Boston office.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Administering a wide variety of Cloud platforms, including Google Workspace, Slack Enterprise Grid, Jira, and AWS.
  • Manage all IT logistics services for the North America region, including purchasing of equipment, inventorying and shipping, and IT asset lifecycle management.
  • Evaluating all IT operations services and identifying opportunities to automate workflows using the Tines platform
  • Developing and executing projects aimed at enhancing IT service delivery at Tines
  • IT endpoint management using our MDM platform (JumpCloud)
  • Dealing with local technology vendors and customer success managers as required
  • Act as a point of escalation when engaging with external support teams across our suite of enterprise applications.
  • Engage and collaborate with key internal stakeholders assisting with integration and automation initiatives on platforms that they manage (Salesforce, Bamboo HR, Zendesk)
  • Automate as much of this as possible!

What you bring with you:

  • 8+ years experience in a Systems Engineering role working on enterprise grade cloud platforms
  • Experience working in IT Operations support, with a keen interest in identifying root causes and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Expert level knowledge of MacOS.
  • Familiarity with other core enterprise applications such as HR platforms, and CRM tools
  • Background in building automated workflows and integrations, and designing self service solutions.
  • Comfortable when using MacOS terminal command-line, and performing log analysis across different platforms.
  • Experience working autonomously, knowing when to escalate, and prioritising competing work intake pipelines.
  • Excellent analytical & time management skills combined with the ability to work collaboratively with peers and business partners
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Familiarity with key IT processes such as Incident management, Change management, and Release management.

At Tines, we’re all about trying new things and taking the leap. If you’re second-guessing your application, we hope you’ll trust your gut and take the leap too! Applying for a new job isn’t always easy, especially if you’re thinking of a career pivot – but we’re big believers in learning and growth here at Tines, so you’ve nothing to worry about. A variety of experience, perspectives, and voices makes us the company we are. We’d love to hear from you.
