Discover Impactful Work The Cybersecurity Awareness Specialist collaborates with the Security Awareness Program team to implement high-impact initiatives that promote secure behaviors, reduce risk and foster a strong cybersecurity culture across the organization. This role plays a key part in developing targeted training materials, behavior-based learning assets, and role-specific enablement tools that support cybersecurity and technology-focused awareness efforts.

A Day in the Life
- Create engaging cybersecurity training materials, guides and toolkits aligned to role-specific risks including concise high-impact resources tailored for busy executives.
- Design and deliver dynamic cybersecurity training for Executives, Executive Assistants (EAs) and their families covering real-world topics such as phishing, mobile security, secure communications while traveling and digital hygiene to strengthen protection across our leadership team.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive IT Support team to ensure training aligns with day-to-day executive enablement efforts.
- Maintain and coordinate internal content libraries and shared documentation, ensuring materials remain current and accurate.
- Build and contribute to presentations, learning materials, and leadership updates—ensuring all content aligns with established style and formatting guidelines.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of targeted campaigns and awareness activities, including scheduling, logistics and feedback tracking.
- Translate technical and risk-based topics into clear, actionable messages for tailored audiences.
- Monitor program metrics (e.g., participation, behavior trends) and help summarize insights to inform improvements.
- Stay ahead of evolving threats, industry regulations, and security trends to ensure awareness efforts remain timely and relevant.
Education
- BA/BS in Cybersecurity, Education, Communications, Business, Computer Science or related field. Equivalent work experience is accepted.
- 1-3 years of experience in security awareness, training development, program coordination, or a related role.
Experience, Skills & Abilities
- Highly organized, detail oriented and proactive in managing multiple deliverables.
- Able to translate technical or risk-based topics into clear, practical content tailored to specific audiences.
- Familiarity with core cybersecurity principles, or a demonstrated interest in developing expertise in the field.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively across teams and with cross-functional stakeholders.
