We are looking for: a highly motivated and experienced R&D Cybersecurity Training Development Manager to lead a development team at Simspace. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams of R&D professionals and a strong technical background in offensive and defensive security.

What will you be doing as a R&D Manager, Cyber Security Training Development at SimSpace?

  • Lead and manage an R&D team responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our training modules and scenarios to ensure the seamless integration of content with new features.
  • Work closely with the product management team to ensure development projects are aligned with business objectives, contract terms and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to ensure successful project execution.
  • Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the delivery of high-quality training products that meet customer needs.
  • Mentor and coach team members, promoting their professional growth and development.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in training development and cybersecurity.

Who you are:

  • Experienced R&D professional with a strong background in successfully leading and managing teams.
  • Excellent technical skills with the ability to understand and solve complex technical problems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs.
  • Comfortable with agile development methodologies and able to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Ability to mentor and coach team members, promoting their professional growth and development.

  • Constantly seeking to learn and stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

What are the qualifications to apply? To be successful as a R&D Manager, Cyber Security Training Development, you need:

  • 6+ years of experience in R&D with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, a related field or commensurate experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project management practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams to deliver desired outcomes on time and within budget constraints.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of R&D industry standards.
  • Familiarity with networking, software development, and cloud computing.

Nice to have but not required:

  • Experience developing and executing cutting-edge solutions for both cloud and on-premise environments.
