SAIC is seeking a Field Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. SAIC is a proud member of the Advance Battle Management System (ABMS) consortium in support of the Department of the Air Force’s (DAF) mission objectives. A common objective we share with our Air Force customer is creating decision superiority by delivering relevant information and capabilities to warfighters and operators. This position represents a unique opportunity within SAIC’s Air Force Business Group (BG) with multiple opportunities available to support our growing Portfolio, as well as working closely with mission partners across the defense industry.

The IT Specialist will provide complex high level system support SAIC within secured areas on multiple military bases.

Support within this role includes:

• Enterprise systems administration, configuration, management, maintenance, and troubleshoot various issues
• RMF duties to include installing\upgrading OSs, applying patches, and updating security tools
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot complex engineering and DEV OPS software
• Configure, support, and troubleshoot virtual and storage technologies
• Complex automation scripting utilizing Python\PowerShell
• Provision and configuration of new physical and virtual servers
• Maintain virtual server and VDI Nutanix environments
• Active Directory management
• Windows systems administration & monitoring
• DCSA Compliance
• Handling of Service Now incidents / requests
• Security tool administration
• Nutanix / Citrix VDI support
• Datacenter administration
• Engineering Tool Support- Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Doors
• Exchange administration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's with 5 years prior Windows client and/or systems experience; Masters with 3 years prior experience
• Must have active Secret clearance and must be able to obtain TS/SCI Clearance
• Security+ or higher certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
