The Senior NetSuite Financial Systems Administrator is a trusted advisor to the finance team, responsible for ensuring that NetSuite is configured and utilized effectively to support the company's financial management needs. This individual has a deep understanding of NetSuite's financial management modules, as well as financial accounting principles and procedures. They are able to work independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve issues, provide technical support and training, and develop and implement solutions that meet the company's business objectives.


About the role

In this role, you will:

End User Support:

  • Support to all Finance & Accounting end users with NetSuite related inquiries and tickets in a responsive way. We expect building relationships and providing “white glove” service.

  • Own and maintain the critical F&A reports thru saved searches, dashboards, analytics

  • Ensure proactive quality coverage during month end and quarter end periods.

  • Create and maintain documentation of NetSuite configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.

Security and Compliance:

  • Own and manage all end user access and security roles within NetSuite, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Assist with coordination of user access reviews, monitoring controls, and SOC report assessments including providing guidance and recommendations to ensure compliance with corporate standards and SOX requirements.

  • Own and execute all Netsuite related SOX controls for IT and Business process matters.

Vendor Management:

  • Liaise with NetSuite ACS, customer teams and any other relevant Netsuite service providers for day to day support, system upgrades, and enhancements.

Project Management:

  • Support NetSuite initiatives to improve internal control procedures, rolling out new NetSuite functionality, change management, security and access rights, and interfaces with adjacent technologies. I.e. Concur, Coupa, Avalara

  • Assist in bi-annual scheduled NetSuite release management, coordinating, testing, troubleshooting and resolving


The skills you’ll bring include:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite administration and SOX compliance/controls

  • Proven NetSuite administrator-level knowledge of configuration, roles, permissions, custom objects, scripting, workflows, reports, and dashboards

  • Experience with creating custom reports, custom fie and data analytics

  • Experience in managing SOX internal controls for Netsuite and related F&A processes.

  • Experience with custom reports, dashboards, saved searches and configurations.

  • Experience integrating third party softwares such as Salesforce, Avalara, Versapay etc.

  • Consistently strong communicator across audiences of various size and levels of the organization

  • Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes (i.e. Tax, revenue, A/P, month closure, etc). Accounting or Tax background is preferred.

  • Experience with M&A activities (process adaptation, data migration, etc.) is preferred

  • Admin experience with any of the following apps: Concur, Coupa, Avalara

  • NetSuite Implementations experience for Finance & Accounting modules.

  • NetSuite Certified Administrator certification is preferred
