Come join us in the Cyber Operations & Analysis Technology Group and help defend the nation in cyberspace! We analyze cyber capabilities and missions, develop advanced technology, and prototype software that cyber operators use to protect our nation’s most critical systems. Our researchers and engineers pioneer next-generation security architectures, enable effective decision making by cyber operators, and integrate cyber operations with other critical missions to create a holistic approach to national defense.

Projects are carried out by small, focused, cooperative teams that succeed together by participating in all phases of technical solution development, including systems analysis, innovative solution design, system architecture, solution prototyping and field-testing, and final technology transfer to Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) sponsors or industry. The group comprises computer scientists, mathematicians, machine learning researchers and practitioners, system analysts, software developers and security architects who firmly believe we can improve the security of the nation.

As a Security Researcher, you will work with other researchers to solve problems and develop new capabilities in cyber security. Your work may involve software development, data analysis, threat or risk modeling, UI development, evaluation, and other aspects of finding ways to make cyber operators more effective.
