Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the security operations within the hospital, ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role involves managing security personnel, developing and implementing security policies, and coordinating emergency response efforts to mitigate risks and protect hospital assets

Oversee day-to-day security operations, ensuring effective coverage across all hospital areas.
-Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and procedures to enhance safety and compliance.
-Supervise security personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
-Ensure adequate staffing levels and coordinate schedules for security team members.
-Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents, emergencies, and critical situations.
-Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches, incidents, and accidents, documenting findings and recommending improvements.


Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's Degree Security required or Bachelor's Degree Criminal Justice required

Licenses and Credentials

Experience
Experience in security management 5-7 years required and Experience in a supervisory role 3-5 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various populations.
- Proficient in security technologies, systems, and incident reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
