What We Offer:
Location: Remote
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
Pay Rate: $29.00/hr
Temporary position for 12 months - may convert to permanent
The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for processing personnel security clearance requests for Government Suitability (SF 85) and Public Trust (SF 85P) determinations required for access to unclassified but sensitive US Government information. This includes establishing and maintaining personnel security files to be inspection ready for US Government audits and maintaining a Security Information Management System (Sign-In-Compliance, a central repository for all security actions and administrative requirements.) The value added by this role will be to maintain an established corporate database for all security clearances across the enterprise which will enable inquiries to be made and reports to be generated for use by Human Resources and Managers in the field. The processing of these packets is required by federal statute to be handled by properly trained Security personnel due to the sensitive nature of the personal information contained in the security applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and process Security Clearance Applications
Create and maintain personnel security files for all programs
Populate and maintain Security Information Management Software
Prepare for and pass US Government Audits
Administer required training per agency and annual training requirements.
Track the employment status of personnel supporting contracts and report terminations to agency contacts for contract removals.
Functional Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
Must possess outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently.
Identified candidate will need to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check successfully prior to start
