As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM’s clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client’s organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Provides technical assistance on legal and regulatory framework development, designs and delivers capacity building activities, manages engagement and business strategy on cybersecurity for critical infrastructure and threat intelligence with host government agencies, providing technical expertise and guidance on innovative solutions to cyber and digital infrastructure challenges:

-Conducts technical analyses for the cybersecurity capacity building, strategy, and technical activities, and preparation of deliverables;
-provides guidance and oversees the Incident response efforts;
-Provides technical guidance and direct support on subject matters with beneficiary entities;
-Works across US based and global teams

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
-At least 10 years of progressive experience in the cybersecurity field.
-Demonstrated experience in various areas of cybersecurity and project management, including planning, design, managing computer systems and security tools and protocols; development of cybersecurity strategies and policies, legal and regulatory frameworks for public and/or private entities.
-Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering capacity building activities;
-Demonstrated experience in writing, presenting, and producing deliverables.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

-Expert knowledge of current cybersecurity tools and systems, critical infrastructure security, cyber incidents response, cybersecurity strategic planning, legal and regulatory requirements;
-Demonstrated skills on program management and leadership skills, including the ability to develop solutions on critical infrastructure cybersecurity, mentor counterpart staff and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and beneficiaries;
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
-Ability to produce detailed reports, documentation and presentations;
-Ability to work across US and global teams
-CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification preferred.
