As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM’s clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client’s organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities
-The mid level cybersecurity consultant provides technical leadership and support to clients. -They will design and develop assessments, provide technical assistance on legal and regulatory framework development
-Designs and delivers capacity building activities, manages engagement and business strategy on cybersecurity for critical infrastructure and threat intelligence with government agencies, providing technical expertise and guidance on innovative solutions to cyber and digital infrastructure challenges.
Other job duties are:
-Conducts technical analyses for the preparation of work products and deliverables to support cybersecurity capacity building
-Provides technical guidance and advisory to clients

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
1) At least 6 years of experience in the cybersecurity field.
2) Demonstrated experience in various areas of cybersecurity and project
management, including planning, design, managing computer systems and
security tools and protocols; development of cybersecurity strategies and
policies, legal and regulatory frameworks for public and/or private entities.
3) Demonstrated experience in writing, presenting, and producing deliverables.
4) Cybersecurity capacity building and training experience

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
-Proficiency and knowledge of current cybersecurity tools and systems, critical
infrastructure security, cyber incidents response, cybersecurity strategic planning, legal and regulatory requirements;
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
