YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT HOLOGIC

• Manage security event investigations, partnering with other departments as needed.
• Stay up to date with relevant vulnerabilities, threat actors, indicators of compromise (IOCs) tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and trends, identifying actionable areas of interest and threats
• Work with Crisis Management to enable crisis procedures and execute when necessary
• Provide intel-driven insights into existing and emerging threats, use insights to search Hologic enterprise for activity that is anomalous and/or malicious
• Work with Security Engineering to baseline user behaviors and events as well as build out new detections and response workflows
• Provide triage support for incident response and investigation efforts as part of Hologic's Threat Detection and Response team and other internal teams
• Recommend and build countermeasures based on threat analysis, intelligence, and forecasting
• Develop, implement, and maintain security incident playbooks/runbooks
• Routinely test and/or improve operational effectiveness through purple team exercises
• Prepare and present analysis with findings and recommendations in the form of briefings, reports, and dashboards to managers, various team leads, and senior leadership as required
• This position is part of a 24x7x365 operation and may require shift and/or on-call work including weekends.

YOU BRING TO HOLOGIC

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years in Information Security
• 5+ years in incident response or threat detection required
• Strong knowledge of incident response principles and processes
• Experience with EDR analysis and rule creation
• Expert experience with Splunk, reports and data correlation; Bonus for in-depth knowledge of Splunk's underpinnings
• Experience with dissecting attacker methodologies and techniques and/or EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) tooling
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• A learning mindset and excitement for learning innovative technologies or security areas
• Bonus points for:
  • Previous experience in cloud-native or tech environments
  • Network or Linux knowledge
  • Programming/Scripting experience
  • Security certifications such as GCTI, GCIH, GCIA, GPEN, etc.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $103,500 to $161,800 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
