The Company

CyberTrust Massachusetts is a non-profit committed to growing and diversifying the cyber workforce, creating new and innovative opportunities for education and employment, and hardening the security posture of under-resourced local entities. Leveraging state and federal startup funding, CyberTrust enhances cyber education programs with hands-on, experiential learning, both through our state-of-the-art cyber range and by placing students in a live security operations center (SOC) that serves local governments, nonprofits, and small businesses. To collaborate on this ambitious agenda, CyberTrust formed a consortium of committed companies and colleges—anchored in community colleges and state universities, where programs can best reach underrepresented groups.

CyberTrust established its SOC this year, and has served about 30 local entities so far with cyber assessments, testing, and managed detection and response (MDR) services. The SOC is led by experienced professional staff, with a large team of intern analysts. Since its launch one year ago, the SOC has served over 30 customers, and employed 23 interns (expected to double in the second year), drawn from a pool of over 750 students enrolled in cyber programs at member colleges and workforce development programs.

Manager of Career Services

At CyberTrust, we’re helping launch the next generation of cybersecurity talent. Through our internship program, students gain the skills, certifications, and hands-on experience they need to land entry-level roles in this fast-growing field. Now, we’re expanding our impact by partnering with local employers, giving even more students the chance to grow and succeed.

What you’ll do—as our Manager of Career Services, you’ll play a key role in shaping these opportunities. Your work will include recruiting and building strong relationships with local companies to grow our internship program; helping align our training programs with the needs of employers; and assisting students and interns with placement into entry-level cybersecurity roles. Join us to make a real difference in people’s lives while addressing the critical talent gap in cybersecurity.

This hybrid role is located in Massachusetts, with 1-2 in-state, in-person meetings per week.
