Job Summary

Summary
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure
Essential Functions
-Design, plan, and implement complex network solutions to meet the organization's connectivity and performance requirements.
-Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, access control lists, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
-Provide advanced technical support to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
-Monitor network performance and bandwidth utilization to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
-Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration details, and standard operating procedures.
-Oversee capacity planning and scaling.
-Serve as a liaison with vendors and other third-party providers.


Qualifications

Education
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Experience
Experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level networks. 5-7 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and topologies.
- Experience with major networking vendors' hardware and software.
- In-depth understanding of network security concepts and best practices, including firewalls, and access control.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex network issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
